About
Show Your Shorts

Show Your Shorts was started in April of 1996 by Cat Del Buono. She began the show due to the lack of outlets for the short film format. Along the way, we have had a number of great collaborators who believe in the short film format. The program showcased short films and interviews with filmmakers and film festival directors. Some of our past favorites include Vin Diesel’s “Multi-facial,” “17 Seconds to Sophie,” by Bill Cote, and Academy winning “Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase,” by Joan Gratz.

During our time at Manhattan Neighborhood network, we were awarded two grants to produce special events. This included two outdoor screenings of short films in Tompkins Square Park, both of which were free to the public. Show Your Shorts has been around for fifteen years and hopes to expand across America! Keep checking our site for the latest information on pubic short film screenings.
